Varion’s plan worked. He has gotten his freedom at the cost of great injuries.
However, his journey did not end after being enslaved. Tasked with getting back to Atulotzia to get to the Black Tower once more, Varion and Trale begin their journey through Scardeea. Once again, Varion finds himself in more trouble than he can handle, as he finds out that the war is not as simple as everyone made it seem to be.
Galedar of the Black, High Master of the Black Tower and current War Emperor, is now leading his army through Scardeea. Once again, he has to let Varion out of his sight in order to focus on his goals.
A new race of people, a wandering prince of a High House, hidden villages, betrayals and never before seen gems will impact Varion’s journey in ways he did not think possible.
